Proper tennis attire should be worn at all times.
Parents are responsible for the appropriate dress
of their children. The following items are NOT
acceptable:
- Bathing
suits

Cut offs
-
Jeans
-
T-shirts are OK, but not those bearing
offensive language or graphics

Men are NOT permitted to play shirtless
regardless of temperature

Smooth, flat-soled tennis shoes are the only acceptable
footwear. |
| 3)
All members and guests are asked to check-in with
the tennis shop before play. A resident must accompany
guests. |
| 4)
All team matches and any special event must be
scheduled in advance with the tennis staff and
take priority over individual play. |
| 5)
The OakLeaf tennis courts shall be open and available
for use seven (7) days a week, 9:00 a.m. to lights
out at 10:00 p.m. The tennis shop itself "may"
close daily at 6:00 p.m. |

Tennis court reservations are made for a period
of 1 and 1/2 hours. Players may extend that time
frame if no one is waiting. Courts are reserved
in this manner: 9 to 10:30 am
- 9
to 10:30 am
- 10:30
to 12 noon
- 12
noon to 2 pm> all eight clay courts
closed for maintenance
- 2:00
to 3:30 pm
- 3:30
to 5:00 pm
- 5:00
to 6:30 pm
- 6:30
to 8:00 pm
- 8:00
to 9:30 pm
- 10:00pm

Reservations
are considered null and void if the
court is not claimed within ten minutes
after the start time. Junior players
are not permitted to make court reservations,
however, their parents may make such
a reservation on their children's behalf.
Juniors will be allowed to use any court
sitting idle at the discretion of the
tennis staff.

The tennis pro shall have a court for teaching
purposes but not to conflict with an OakLeaf-sponsored
tournament or event. |
| 8)
It may be necessary, on occasion, to close a court
or courts for special maintenance. Nets that are
lowered by the staff are a designation that the
court is unplayable. Players are asked NOT to
raise a lowered net without the permission of
the staff. |

Reservations
for play may be made beginning at 2:00pm, two
(2) days in advance of the intent to play. That
is, call 2:00 pm or later on Monday to reserve
a Wednesday court, 2:00 pm or later on Tuesday
to reserve a Thursday court, 2:00 pm or later
on Wednesday to reserve a Friday court, etc.

by calling the tennis shop (291-1776)
or by left on the answering machine
will be taken in the order in which
they are received later in the day.

| 10)
OakLeaf tennis courts are solely for the purpose
of playing tennis! No roller blades, scooters,
bicycles, or soccer balls are permitted on the
surface. Skate boards are absolutely NOT PERMITTED
on the clay at any time. This rule also extends
to the walkways between and connecting various
courts on the site. |
